International Shipping Compliance Policy

Sanctions, export controls, dual-use, AML and prohibited-destination obligations across the IKEOCEAN ecosystem.

IKEOCEAN® · USDOT/FMCSA Operating Authority MC 1613339 · Atlanta, GA, USA · Governed by the laws of the United States.

1. Sanctions & Embargoes

You represent and warrant that you, your beneficial owners, your counterparties and the cargo are not subject to sanctions administered by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the United Nations Security Council, the European Union, the United Kingdom (HM Treasury / OFSI), or any other applicable authority. You will not use the Services to support any prohibited end-use, end-user or destination, including without limitation Crimea, so-called DNR/LNR, North Korea, Iran, Syria and Cuba unless authorized by a valid license.

2. Export Controls & Dual-Use

You are responsible for obtaining all export licenses and authorizations required by the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), EU dual-use regulations, UK Strategic Export Control Lists and equivalent regimes worldwide. You must accurately declare the Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) or equivalent.

3. AML & KYC

IKEOCEAN screens parties against sanctions, PEP and adverse-media lists. We may request additional KYC documentation (incorporation papers, beneficial-ownership disclosures, ID for authorized signatories) and may delay, refuse or report shipments where compliance concerns arise.

4. Anti-Boycott

IKEOCEAN complies with U.S. anti-boycott laws (Export Administration Regulations Part 760 and IRS Section 999). Users may not ask IKEOCEAN to participate in, or provide information supporting, any unsanctioned foreign boycott.

5. Restricted Goods

Certain goods (military, encryption, nuclear, agricultural pests, endangered species under CITES, cultural property, narcotics precursors) require special licenses or are prohibited outright. You must verify lawful import and export at both origin and destination before tendering.

6. Enforcement

IKEOCEAN may, without liability, suspend, hold, refuse, return or report any shipment that triggers a sanctions, export-control or AML concern. False or misleading information provided to circumvent compliance is a material breach and may be reported to regulators and law enforcement.

This document is part of the IKEOCEAN legal framework. It is provided for transparency and ecosystem protection and does not replace individualized legal advice. Where a separately signed master service agreement, bill of lading, sea waybill, air waybill, or tariff filing conflicts with this policy, the signed instrument controls.
