Acceptable Use Policy

Conduct, cargo and platform-usage rules that protect IKEOCEAN, our partners, carriers and other Users.

1. Prohibited Cargo

You may not tender, list or facilitate the movement of:

  • Illegal, stolen, counterfeit or smuggled goods.
  • Undeclared hazardous, explosive, radioactive, infectious, narcotic or weaponized materials.
  • Currency, bullion, bearer instruments or live animals without prior written approval.
  • Human remains, organs or biological samples without proper authorization.
  • Goods subject to sanctions, embargoes or export controls (OFAC, EU, UN, UK HMT, EAR, ITAR, dual-use).
  • Goods that infringe intellectual property or violate any applicable law of the origin, transit or destination country.

2. Prohibited Conduct

  • Misdeclaration of commodity, weight, dimensions, value, HS code, origin, destination or party identity.
  • Circumvention of duties, taxes, sanctions, embargoes or export controls.
  • Trade-based money laundering, terrorist financing or any fraudulent or deceptive practice.
  • Bribery, kickbacks or facilitation payments (see Anti-Bribery clause in our Terms).
  • Reverse engineering, scraping, overloading or interfering with the ShipHub platform or APIs.
  • Abusive, defamatory, harassing or discriminatory behavior toward staff, agents or other Users.
  • Use of the Services to harm minors or to host or transmit malicious content.

3. Enforcement

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination, cargo hold or seizure, forfeiture of fees, reporting to authorities, and civil or criminal action. IKEOCEAN reserves the right to cooperate fully with law enforcement and regulators.

4. Reporting Abuse

To report a violation, contact info@ikeocean.com. Reports are handled confidentially to the extent practicable.
